Official publishing partner

Official publishing partner: Orthopedic Surgery & Trauma.

In partnership with Orthopedic Surgery & Trauma (ORTST), IAMRegen’s official publishing partner — an independent, peer-reviewed journal, not owned by or exclusive to IAMRegen.

A formal publishing partnership

Orthopedic Surgery & Trauma (ORTST) is IAMRegen’s official publishing partner under a signed Memorandum of Understanding. ORTST also lists IAMRegen among its affiliated associations and societies.

ORTST is an independent peer-reviewed journal. It is not owned by IAMRegen, is not exclusive to IAMRegen and remains responsible for its own editorial policies, peer-review process and publication decisions.

What the partnership is intended to support

The partnership creates a route through which eligible IAMRegen Congress abstracts and future scholarly outputs — including reviews, expert opinions, consensus reports and related articles — may be considered for publication. Submission does not guarantee acceptance. Each output remains subject to the applicable editorial, ethical, authorship and peer-review requirements.

Editorial roles and conflict safeguards

Professor Feza Korkusuz is Editor-in-Chief of ORTST and serves as IAMRegen President-Elect and Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board. Professor Paul Lee is a Section Editor of ORTST and serves as IAMRegen President. These overlapping roles are declared openly.

For any IAMRegen-originated submission in which either editor is an author, contributor, organisational decision-maker or otherwise has an actual, potential or perceived competing interest, that editor is recused from handling and deciding the submission. An independent, unconflicted editor controls reviewer selection, correspondence and the editorial decision. The conflicted editor must not select reviewers, access confidential reviews beyond an author’s normal access or influence the decision. ORTST retains final editorial authority.

Scientific independence

IAMRegen membership, Fellowship, office, sponsorship or Congress participation does not guarantee authorship, favourable review or publication. Sponsors have no control over conclusions, author selection, peer review or editorial decisions. Corrections, complaints and any post-publication action follow the applicable journal policies.

Current publication status

IAMRegen’s first consensus programme is in development. No annual IAMRegen consensus has yet been published. This page will link to each output only after publication and will show its full citation, DOI, authors, contributor information, conflicts and funding statement.
