Speaking up and research integrity.

IAMRegen wants people to raise genuine concerns about wrongdoing, risk to people, or scientific misconduct. Those who speak up in good faith are protected from retaliation.

Publication candidate — pending trustee adoption. This document is a complete operating proposal, not yet effective policy. It takes effect only when adopted by recorded resolution of the MSK REGEN trustees. It is not legal advice, regulatory accreditation, or a substitute for local clinical, research, employment or institutional governance.

What to raise, and to whom

Concerns about danger, illegality, misuse of funds, or research and publication misconduct can be raised with a Speaking-Up Contact who is independent of the person concerned, via [email protected].

Scientific misconduct

Allegations of fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, guest/gift/ghost authorship or undisclosed conflicts are handled by an independent Publication Integrity Lead, consistent with COPE guidance. AI tools cannot be authors, and unlabelled AI-generated filler must not be used to create the appearance of authority.
